Newsies!
This year the 4th and 5th Grade Musical will be the Newsies! Telling the tale of the kids delivering the newspapers in New York City in 1895, The Newsies was orginally made as a movie by Disney in the 1990s, Miss Cowan adapted the music and script to use at Gavin Central. You can rent the movie and watch to practice for our show, or look up clips of it online.
Music Booster's Dog and Suds Funraiser, a huge success!
Thanks to the boosters for organizing such a great event. We had a blast hanging out, eating food, listening to some students play their instruments and raising money for the music program.
